Keeping littles safe

SAFETY FIRST.

Just Between Friends is currently the only children's and maternity resale franchise in the industry to employ a safety and recall expert.

That's because we are dedicated to keeping our families safe—making sure our franchisees and participating families have up-to-date information on safety and recalls that could affect them.

We also monitor our sales to remove items which the Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled. We provide the CPSC Recall feed so you can check your items against current recall lists as well.

Thank you for working with us to keep everyone safe.

SAFETY MATTERS

SAFE TOGETHER

Every parent, grandparent and caregiver wants to keep kids safe! No one wants to have an item in their home that could potentially harm, or worse fatally injure, a child. Every year there are thousands of products that are recalled due to safety concerns. Consumers do not want to find out about an unsafe product after someone in their home has been injured or killed.

It is important for all of us to help each other stay informed when it comes to matters of safety. We must work together to help keep families safe!
That's why I feel what I do with Just Between Friends is so important and why we invest in recall and product safety. You matter very much to us— and that's why Safety Matters.

Help prevent tip-over

HELP PREVENT TIP-OVERS

Sadly, a child dies every two weeks when a TV, piece of furniture or appliance falls. Even short furniture can pose a risk as any piece of furniture over 27" tipping over on a child can be fatal. But together, we can change this statistic.

As of 2020, any piece of furniture sold through Just Between Friends will be sold with straps to anchor furniture safelty to the wall.

We will provide safety straps for items when they are dropped off at the sale. We encourage all caretakers to take the time to familiarize themselves with safety standards. You just might save a life.
